Lahinch Beach at Sunset

It's on again!!! Wattle is wandering again in 2025. 

As usual, I'm heading back to Lahinch - the land of my forebears, although this year will have a few changes to my usual plan.

Ths first thing is that Nora Curtin (Marie's Mum) sadly died a few months ago at the grand old age of  97. She was married to Patrick Curtin who is my Dad's second cousin, and my great grand father migrated from the farm where she still lived with her son, Sean.

The other change is that the little apartment I had hired during my last two stays is no longer available. The owners have taken it off the B&B market.... very sad, because it was so central to Lahinch and within walking distance of the beach, the Church and the town. 

However, Marie has invited me to stay at her house, which is about 10 minutes out of town, so I am very lucky to be in the midst of family there. Thanks Marie :)

So, now for the packing and organising... and the washing etc!
